Build Update: May 14


This update contains a UI and VFX overhaul, new secret, and a speedrun timer prototype.

UI Overhaul:

Added new  visuals to indicate Bloom gauge progress, including number of magic uses available.

Added new health pips with higher contrast.

Moved the projectile indicator to the bottom left, added new sprites, and added new VFX to improve readability and glance value.

Added a large indicator and a button prompt to show when Bloom gauge is fully charged. You can't miss it!

Speedrun Timer Prototype:

Time to completion and time to kill boss are tracked during your run.

To-do: Format the timer into HH:MM:SS, store best-time records in the save file, and create a leaderboard of best times.

VFX Overhaul:

Recreated the status indicators and slow effects to more clearly show enemy status: shielded, shield-broken, slowed, etc.

Recreated the AOE indicator for the sprout slow effect to more clearly distinguish it from other sources of slow.
